We zijn weer thuis van een prachtige rondreis door Namibië, Botswana en een puntje Zambia.

Ik heb natuurlijk veel te veel foto's gemaakt, maar na een week van selectie en bewerken (ik heb deze keer alles in RAW geschoten) ben ik van ruim 1800 foto's terug naar 800. Een strenge selectie daarvan heb ik geupload naar mijn fotoalbum.

Onze nieuwe tuin is klaar:

... eindelijk van die stomme kiezels af. Laat de zomer nu maar komen!

We escaped Limburgs Carnaval for a long weekend in Berlin. It was pretty cold, but sunny and we had a great time.

We brushed up on European history, saw remnants of the Wall, ate Currywurst, did some shopping, took a small dip in the famous Berlin nightlife and we were amazed by the monumental exhibits at the Pergamon Museum.

We went skiing in La Plagne, France with a group of friends.

We're just back from a quick trip to London.

Apart from Tower Bridge, Big Ben and Buckingham Palace, we also visited the Tate Modern, the Natural History Museum (Dinosaurs!) and the British Museum.

In the British Museum, we focused on the large Egyptian section because we recently visited Egypt. The guys in Cairo can really learn something from the Brits in terms of presentation!

... and a great 2011! 

We've just returned from a great 15-day trip to Egypt with Djoser. The weather was great and we had a group of very nice people.
